Past-It

The project is a series of textile sheets inspired by a single shape that repeats itself and are arranged in patterns based on geometric symmetries. The items, printed in 3D, have been designed into shapes and surfaces that will function as one piece of cut and material. The project was developed out of a desire to test the limits of design and feasibility of new techniques in textiles, and work with new technological skills of modeling (parametric design) and 3D printing that are expressed in changes in the formal language and the creation of new textile objects.
